The Aim of the Team
Martin and Sarah Lazenby moved to Malaga in 2017 and over the past year they have been learning language, settling the family and making friends. They are now starting to gather a small team of people and will soon be launching a church plant in the city. At this early stage we want to cover the church and all they do in prayer. Martin and Sarah would like to invite you to join them for a prayer weekend. The team will help to serve during the weekend, providing practical support to Martin and Sarah as they run the event. It won't be all hard work, there will be lots of time to enjoy the city, meet others who have a heart for mission and most importantly pray.

Venue
The venue is situated in El Palo, which is a province of Malaga and where Martin and Sarah feel God might be calling them to plant a church. It is a relaxed, residential beachfront neighborhood.
Flights
You are responsible for booking and paying for your own flights. We will help you with transfers from the airport to the venue and provide you with details of our recommended flights. We will send you this information once you have booked your place on the team.
Accommodation
We have arranged a deal with the Hotel Elcano, where we are holding the event. We will assume you are happy to be accommodated in this hotel unless you let us know otherwise.
Standard double or twin rooms = €56 per night per room
Superior double or triple rooms = €66 per night per room
We will reserve your room for you and then you pay the hotel directly when you are in Malaga.

Elder Approval
To join a team we will need to have a quick chat to one of the Elders in your local church. There is nothing to worry about, we have your best interests at heart. We will just be checking that this team is the best way for you to get involved in the mission.
