The Gathering

As a family there are many reasons why we love to gather together – for food and fellowship, for celebration and mourning, to join our hearts and voices in prayer, to encourage one another and to learn from one another.

As we gather, our family values are strengthened, reinforced and passed on from one generation to another. We grow both in understanding and in unity, and are equipped and envisioned to go back out and live out our family values in our different contexts.

To this end, in November we are launching a new series of gatherings called…The Gathering. You can find out more about it in this recent article.

Mike Betts and Stef Liston will be sharing with us. Mike will be particularly talking about the vision for The Gathering, so more will be explained at the event! Stef will be taking us through some teaching around our theme ‘Courage in my character.’

This is the first Gathering that will help set the course and direction for the next season, please don’t miss out. Book in today!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We have outlined a few FAQs below that you have been asked about the event so far. If you have any further questions please get in contact.

Can I bring my staff / church team?

Yes, of course you can, these are ideal days to bring your team to. If you can only bring your full team for one Gathering in the year that is fine. While The Gathering is designed so that each event builds on the previous one, there will still be enough in each programme to be applicable if someone can only attend one Gathering.

Are single day tickets available?

The Gathering is a newly designed initiative where a key part of the programme goes through teaching, reflection and discussion based on the theme. Each Gathering will work through 3 questions, What is? What could be? What will be? over the 2 days. This means while it is possible to attend and engage fully on the first day, it would be difficult only to attend on the second day and pick up from where we finished on the first day. As a result, tickets are available for the day one and the full two days only.

Overall, we strongly encourage you to get The Gathering dates in your diary as early as possible to help you to plan to attend both days, so that you get the most out of the event.

Is the venue likely to change?

We have been so blessed by Hope Church, Ipswich serving us so well during our Prayer & Equipping days over the last few years and will be running further events there in the future. For our Gatherings we will be looking to use different venues and locations, so please double check booking information before choosing hotels etc. This time we are excited to be hosting the November Gathering at the Kings Centre in Norwich, UK.
