ROAR!
The lion’s roar truly was released in Cambridge!
Over one hundred and fifty people from across Relational Mission gathered at the beginning of March to grow in hearing God for the church at the Let the Lion Roar conference - a day that was wonderfully hosted by City Church Cambridge and organised by The Listening Ear team from Aylsham Community Church.
We basked in the presence of the Lord as we worshipped, and were inspired and challenged by Adrian Horner’s main sessions. There was much prophetic encouragement and anointing imparted during the ministry times as Marshall Schaitel, along with his team of men and women, helped to facilitate the times of response. From the beginning, it was clear that the schedule was flexible and there was space for the move of the Spirit to affect timings - which He did.
It was also good to have Mike Betts zoom into bring his own insights into the increasing outworking of the prophetic alongside the apostolic as we look to advancing the Church both locally and globally.
It was helpfully grounded with practical instruction in seminars with Mike Bollinger (Lowestoft Community Church), Adrian Horner, Anna Goodman (City Church Cambridge) and Simon Gallagher (Aylsham Community Church), with topics including God's unshakeable people in a shaking world, What if I don't think I am very prophetic!?, and Spiritual gifts and supernatural worship.
We came home with hearts full of all that the Lord had done and will do.
