Plant Global: In pursuit of every nation

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

A Great Multitude from Every Nation

Revelation 7 paints a compelling picture of our future as the multicultural people of God. It is an inheritance that is assured by God’s hand yet one He invites us to actively inherit.

It’s this perspective that gives me great joy in attending a conference like Plant Global that ran in early June 2021. As Relational Mission family, we all have a great role to play in seeing the global advance of Jesus’ Kingdom rule with churches planted and established. So as we gathered, we were flooded with fresh vision for God’s heart for ALL nations and people groups, feasting on excellent teaching, inspiring interviews and praying in earnest for Father’s will to be done.

I was deeply impacted by the courage and wisdom of those interviewed and felt empowered by the Holy Spirit that this mandate is not for a select few but for each and every one of us, as even in our own neighbourhood, global reach is on our doorstep!

Joining the Africa forum, I learnt so much and humbly realise how much more those of us with a western mindset have to learn from the global south and east.

I’m thrilled to see where God will take us on our global adventure; let’s pursue His call on our lives together!
