Sent 2022 is happening!
In just two months’ time, young adults from across our family of churches will be gathering in Ipswich, UK, to worship, pray and receive equipping for the mission that we are on together.
Yes, that’s right! SENT is back for 2022, and we are really excited about this one-day event - a chance to reconnect after the madness of the last two years.
“SENT will be a day for reconnecting, reigniting and rediscovery - a day of devoted worship, transformational teaching and passionate prayer.”
SENT is all about seeing a generation of young men and women raised up to fulfil the purposes of God in our day. As a family of churches we have a big vision to see our neighbourhoods and nations reached with the good news of Jesus and to see lives transformed. SENT is about catching many people up in that mission.
Who is SENT for?
If you are a student or in your twenties - I don’t know where you would say you are at right now. This exhausting pandemic may have left you feeling a bit directionless. You might be asking yourself, “What on earth is God doing in the world right now?”
The answer right now, and at any point in history, is that He’s fulfilling His plan for the knowledge of His glory to cover the earth just as the waters cover the sea. What you need is to be reminded that you have a big part to play in His plan. Here’s your opportunity to be equipped and empowered to play your part.
Why come to SENT?
SENT will be a day for reconnecting, reigniting and rediscovery - a day of devoted worship, transformational teaching and passionate prayer.
We are thrilled to have Stef Liston give a main session. If you’ve had the privilege of hearing Stef speak before, you will know that we are in for a challenging, but also deeply inspiring time. We’re also excited to be hearing from Wouter and Simone Vertegaal, who will be inspiring us with their story of radical obedience to Jesus at this time. And what’s more - we’re going to have an awesome time of prayer together. If you were at that prayer evening at Sent 2019, then you already know we’re in for an awesome time in God’s presence!
We would love for you (and everyone you can persuade to come along!) to join us on the day, and we’ve worked hard to make it as financially accessible as possible. We believe that you won’t regret coming along.
Leaders and Family
Finally, if you are a church leader, or a family member of someone who is eligible to attend SENT, I would urge you to do all you can to help them to go - whether by paying for a ticket or for transport, or both.
Oh, and one last thing - church leaders, you can come along too! Why not have a road trip and enjoy a great day with the students and twenties from your church family? Maybe even get a cheeky McDonald’s breakfast on the way?!
