Answered Prayer - ENOUGH
The past six months have been unlike any we’ve experienced before, but with its many trials came an opportunity for thousands to join together in a global concert of prayer - from their homes.
As social distancing and lockdown measures prevented many of our church families around the world from gathering together, we felt an urgency to see how we could keep corporate prayer a central priority. We put together three special online ENOUGH prayer meetings called “For Such a Time as This”, enabling anyone with an internet connection to add their voice to thousands of others in prayer. We highlighted particular ministries connected to our family of churches during these events, praying for specific needs that had developed during the pandemic.
Since then, we have seen many exciting answers to prayer.
Miraculous Healings in Kenya
Edward Buria, who leads the Kerith Church in Kenya, sent through a video update detailing some of the many miracles they have seen come to pass in the months following the For Such a Time as This events.
Relational Breakthrough in Spain
In our May spotlight, Ron Anderson shared how he played a recorded devotional message out of his window for his neighbours during lockdown. Since then, he has been making connections with neighbours who found hope and encouragement from the recordings.
Renewed Hope for Refugee Children in Greece
Our ENOUGH event in June highlighted the amazing work of Faros, an organisation providing shelter for vulnerable refugee children in Athens. The impact of the coronavirus pandemic was devastating for many, especially these children where many of the vital services that help them were forced to close. Patricia and her team asked us to pray over their new drop-in centre, and we are thrilled to announce it will be opening this autumn!
Join with The Prayers of Many
These answers to prayer are a powerful reminder of the love and sovereignty of God, and we believe that the thousands of voices raised in unity across these three events has resulted in even more answered prayer than we could hope to count. With that in mind, let us continue to devote ourselves to prayer as a family of churches - starting with the next ENOUGH event in autumn.
Upcoming ENOUGH: November 2020
ENOUGH: Global will be taking place on Friday 13 November, and we expect to gather churches and individuals from over 40 nations to pray for the same things at the same time.
