Meet Betsy and answer the Call to Give...
All around us we see the impact of life lived without God: in the lives of individuals struggling with broken relationships, in financial crisis or facing broken promises and shattered dreams. More than ever our broken world needs the hope the gospel of Jesus Christ brings.
We have all been called to share this hope individually and as a part of a local church, connected into a wider apostolic family of churches.
As a family, God has entrusted a big vision to us and has inspired us to be globally fruitful, to cross all boundaries, reach nations, make disciples and plant local led churches.
In these next years, we have the opportunity to see a trajectory change that will help us embrace this vision and experience a wave of multiplication that will see the gospel shared across the globe, and our family achieve more in the next 20 years than many have in 50, as God has promised.
Helping everyone in our family to find their place in God’s purposes is key in this trajectory change. We all need to fully embrace who we are in God and what we are called too.
It is vital we release gifted people to serve amongst us encouraging us to run the races to which we are each called, whilst embodying the values we hold dear. As well as inspiring and spurring on future generations not to settle, but to take hold of all God has for them.
We need to shape tools and initiatives to help empower and motivate us to give witness of the gospel in our broken world. We need to create a family environment that will give rise to pioneering men and women breaking ground in new nations and communities globally as well as provide the ongoing support they need.
All of the above will help our communities of churches thrive and multiply across the nations, but we need to gather and share resources to make this happen.
Financially we believe we need to raise £500,000 (€588,000) in 2020 to help our family navigate this next stage of the journey.
We are calling on everyone across our family of churches to be courageous and with generous hearts answer this call 2 give.
God has entrusted each of us with time, talents and treasure to steward and invest in God’s work. We are encouraged to give what we have sacrificially into the mission, trusting in God and being full of faith that He will fulfil what he has promised and called us too.
Betsy (who you will meet in our video) showed a simple act of generosity, thinking of others, and gave what she had into our mission.
