Christmas Appeal passes the £40K mark!

Towards the end of last year we launched our 2016 Christmas appeal to partner with our friends Edward and Fridah Buria to support the next phase of the community empowerment programme in Meru Kenya.

The aim of the appeal is to raise funds to help refurbish and complete the Isiome Hope Centre in Kenya and in so doing provide apprenticeship-style courses in IT, electronics, masonry, media and community development.

These courses will help young people transition to the workplace by equipping them with the skills they need for employment. This programme will empower the young people to make choices for their own lives and move forward into a different future.

We have just passed the £40,000 mark in donations to this appeal which is amazing! A big thank you to everyone that has contributed individually, through their church or through their workplace.

While this is great news we still want to push on and get closer to the £70,000 target we have set for the appeal.

So please keep praying for this appeal and share amongst your friends and colleagues. If you have not got involved yet, then please consider doing so.

The appeal will remain open until the 31 March 2017 to give an opportunity for further donations to be made.

If this is the first you have heard about the appeal, then find out more by watching the video below or by clicking HERE
