Training day for Relational Mission Youth Leaders and Teams
When: 21 October 2017
Where: The Hub, Wymondham, Norfolk
Do you want to SHAPE the next generation?
Then join us for our second SHAPE youth leaders' training day. It’s a day for youth leaders and teams to be encouraged, equipped and empowered.
We want to help you create relationships and insight that will help you reach and disciple the young people in your village, town or city. The day will be a mixture of worship, main sessions, food, workshops and time to minister to each other.
If you want to SHAPE the next generation and our broken world then come along.
Who's it for?
SHAPE is for anyone who leads young people in his or her local church. We'd love whole youth teams to come so you can discuss, pray and implement what you're learning together.
Confirmed Speakers so far:
Ben Watkins: He's an elder at Life Church in Sheringham, Norfolk. He's been working with young people and youth leaders for over 10 years. He loves Star Wars, Golden State Warriors, Tarsiers and wrestling with his kids.
Paige Morgan-Durand: Is on Staff at Christ Community Church Attleborough. She has equipped loads of young people in evangelism through the Newday outreach program. It's great to have her back to speak again at SHAPE. She also just got engaged so I'm sure she'll be flashing her bling all day in October.
Ben Rowe: is part of Emmanuel Church in London and a core member of the Newday festival team. Ben has so much to share and encourage us with and will be sharing with us about his heart for Newday and young people across our nation.
Adam Bradley: Leads the team at Kings Community Church in Great Yarmouth. He has great experience in leadership and equipping others to see the church build effectively.
Matt Fell: leads the ID gap year program for Relational Mission and is based in City Church Canterbury. He has much to teach us on how we can prepare and deliver effective teaching.
Emily Plumbly and Jodi Peek: Emily is based at Kings Church in Norwich and also leads the Newday prayer space team. Jodi is based in Lowestoft Community Church and works with children and young people across many groups and schools.
Plus we'll have a team from the School of Supernatiral Life based at Hope Community Church in Wymondham. They'll be with us in the afternoon to pray and minister to us.
More speakers to be confirmed soon.
